A Strategic Collaboration Opportunity

NODAR's Integration Partner Program is designed to enable hardware manufacturers to integrate advanced 3D vision technology into their product ecosystems. NODAR, a leader in stereo vision technology, provides groundbreaking software that enables high-accuracy depth perception for applications like autonomous vehicles, robotics, and industrial automation. By joining the Integration Partner Program, manufacturers can seamlessly incorporate NODAR’s technology into their cameras and systems, significantly enhancing their product capabilities.

Advantages of the Program

The program offers numerous benefits, including access to NODAR’s cutting-edge stereo vision software, transforming standard cameras into powerful 3D vision systems. This enhances product differentiation, enabling manufacturers to tap into the rapidly growing demand for advanced perception systems. Moreover, partners gain support in integrating, optimizing, and marketing their upgraded offerings, ensuring a streamlined process from development to market entry.

Who Is It For?

This program is tailored for hardware manufacturers looking to expand their product portfolio and target new markets. It is particularly valuable for those producing cameras, sensors, or imaging systems used in automation, safety, and AI applications.

Qualification for Partnering with NODAR

To qualify for NODAR's Integration Partner Program, manufacturers must have a proven track record of delivering high-quality camera and embedded computer hardware solutions. Ideal partners are companies that prioritize innovation, operate in industries like automotive, robotics, or industrial automation, and have an interest in enhancing their products with scalable, high-performance 3D vision technology. Additionally, partners should demonstrate a commitment to collaboration and a shared vision for driving advancements in perception systems.

As we all know, integration of software is time consuming but we are committed to your success. Working together toward a common goal, we ask for the following commitment from partners:

  1. Partner must pre-pay NODAR for an minimum number of software licenses per year. Additional licenses can be purchased.
  2. Partner must respond to camera driver bug fixes or upgrades in a timely manner.
  3. Partner must be capable of intrinsic camera calibration.
  4. Partner must offer the AGX Orin (Jetson or Drive) and have the expertise to pre-load our software on it.
  5. Partner hardware offerings that feature NODAR software must satisfy our quality standards and achieve at least a Bronze rating according to our stereo camera system certification program.
    1. For example, camera drivers must support synchronized capture, synchronized exposure and gain setting, HDR, a bit depth of at least 12 bits (16-bits and higher are preferred), and a functional autoexposure algorithm (we have seen algorithms that set the gain and exposure to maximum values).
    2. Cameras must be of high quality: HDR, 3-8 MP or more, good quantum efficiencies (<2 e- readout noise), quality optics with low distortion, low F#s (<F/2) for good nighttime light collection, and focused well (at infinity).

Grow Your Product Offering and Sales

With NODAR’s technology, manufacturers can offer versatile, high-performance solutions, driving adoption across industries. This not only enriches their product lineup but also unlocks opportunities to sell more cameras by addressing diverse use cases requiring reliable, scalable 3D vision. Stereo vision solutions require twice as many cameras as monocular solutions, potentially doubling the camera sales volume.

Setup Process

  1. (NODAR + Partner) Select supported product models: Orin + supported cameras
  2. (Partner) Send hardware to NODAR for testing and validation.
  3. (NODAR) Test and validate partner’s hardware. If it passes, NODAR adds the make/model to our supported camera and hardware list (here).
